Shot on location at the historic Joe's Barbershop in the historic Black community of Acres Homes, Houston, TX,  "Shop Talk the barbershop podcast" celebrates and revives those "Old School" Black Barbershop conversations that held the community down and lifted the community up, discussing news and issues relevant to and from the perspective of the Black community.   We need those conversations to be had now, more than ever. The Black Barbershop becomes, once again, a safe space, an institution of influence and inspiration in the Black community.
